WHEN YOU BUY 1 Dodge Steering Box Stabilizer Bar Ram 2003-2020 2500/3500 4wd - 1032003 YOU QUALIFY FOR THESE SAVINGS!
BD's Steering Box Stabilizer (SBS) eliminates steering wander and wobble caused by excessive shaft play in the steering box of late-model Dodge trucks. Designed for easy, bolt-in installation in about an hour, the SBS virtually eliminates frame flex at the steering box mounting point, resulting in more positive steering feel. The BD SBS is powder coated for corrosion resistance, and features a greasable, high-quality bearing for reliable operation. The SBS comes complete with high-strength mounting hardware and instructions.
When I originally reviewed this product, I gave it 3 stars. That was based on about 100 miles of local driving without a load and without towing. Well--I made a big mistake and most humbly apologize for doing so. After a trip of almost 1,500 miles towing a 7,000 lb. trailer AND some light off-roading, I can definitively state that this is one of the best upgrades I've ever made to my 2018 SRW Ram 3500. When towing, the wander is gone. Potholes don't throw you off-line. The same goes for off-roading. Your vehicle is much more secure feeling and more firmly planted. Hands down, this is some of the best money I've ever spent on my daily driver.
2009 Dodge 2500, 4x4, fit was perfect. It would be nice if the replacement nut were the same size as the nut removed from the pitman shaft. I had to buy an 1.5” wrench. But, not the end of the world, just and inconvenience. As I said the fitment was perfect!!! Thank you.
BD is awesome to work with! Super helpful staff as well! Kit came with really detailed instructions for those who are beginners. My truck was all over the road my steering was super sloppy and was miserable to drive. 06 ram 2500 with a 6” lift and 35” 12” wide tires and it solved all the steering issues I wish I would have bought it sooner!
My 3500 SRW Ram felt like it was "wandering" down the road. As I came out of corners, I felt a slight shift opposite of the direction I was traveling. Now...not so much. My steering feels tighter, but in no way can I say that it's tight. Bottom line, this is an improvement but not a panacea for a recirculating ball steering system.
Really tightened up the front end. I didn’t have any death wobble. But the truck would sway and wander on the highway. Even hitting bumps in the road now the front and just feels solid
