Turbo Install Kit Ford F-150 3.5L Ecoboost 2011-2016

Excellent product. My only issue was with the bolts that attach the turbo to the manifold. The kit had hex bolts. I would have preferred the torx style or interior hex for ease of installation. There isn’t a lot of room available for a socket so an interior fastener would have worked better

Well the original manifold came with 8 bolts. This one comes with 11. And where the extra bolts are is exactly where the stock manifolds warp and snap the studs. Time will tell but appears to be the fix that Ford should’ve come out with in the first place. Quick shipping and an excellent website to navigate!!!

Great quality parts, complete instructions, it’s not an easy job to do on jack stands, but well worth it! Got the in-cab noise back down, +1.5 mpg everywhere and better throttle response. I had 2 broken oem bolts on each manifold when I took them off so we were losing all kinds of power and efficiency, got that back and then some.

It was a bit time consuming on certain parts of the kit, but not BD Diesels fault..thanks Ford! Take your time and read and re-read the directions and it will be done.

Nice quality upgrade components, purchase coolant tubes and engine side connectors to be prepared for whatever happens. Had both rear turbo coolant tubes seized to connectors on turbo (rear) due to corrosion of tube ends. Would be great to replace those tubes (and quick conn.) with stainless hoses with compression fittings. Tube removal was the most difficult part of the repair. Note right side rear tube replacement requires the ac compressor to be pulled back to remove the retaining bolt, the compressor uses a stretch fit belt. Good time to replace those too.

Great quality, bought this with the replacement of manifold. Turbos replaced at 275k miles for peace of mind. Hope to get another 275

Installed the BD Diesel exhaust manifold on my 2015 F150 3.5 Ecoboost.
Using all 11 studs seems like a no brainer, but it too BD to come up with the 11 stud manifold. Everything fit like a glove and I'm happy to have the rattling manifold gasket noise that accompanies the broken stud and warped original manifold behind me. I would highly recommend this kit.

The manifolds fit perfectly, I hope better than new with the additional studs that BD has designed. Not sure which Ford engineer should get fired. All of the gaskets and hardware provided were perfect. The installation instructions were good with the exception of a part number provided for the fittings for the water connection on the turbo. The published part number is for a diesel engine my Ford parts department told me. The ones in the kit were correct however. I also had troubles to get the studs to screw into the head. after chasing the threads with an M8 tap everything went together nicely. Maybe that step should be included in the instructions?
Overall I am very happy with the product.

Great fit. Competitive price. Very good step by step instructions. Shipping was longer than advertised. One exhaust gasket was damaged when I got it but didn’t seam to affect anything, I have no doubt that they would have replaced it if I made the request.
I would not hesitate to purchase the kit again.

Purchased both the manifold kit and the install kit, instructions are bang on, (follow them exactly people!) parts are top notch quality… install went without a hitch!! Highly recommend BD!!

Bought this kit as recommended when replacing exhaust manifolds. Available colour instructions made for an easy removal and reinstall.
