They looked like quality manifolds and bolted up perfect. Removed headers that cracked. I think these will be a better option than OEM manifolds.

2018 Ram 1500 60,067mi. Unsure when it started as my wife drives it. I have only replaced the passenger side as of now because of the leak due to the snapping bolt issue. It went on as easy as it could after removing the bolt which broke off recessed in the head . The casting is leaps and bounds better than the OEM. Comparing them side by side these look like they’ll have better flow too. I really like that these use quality bolts with spacers to deal with the thermal cycles. The heat shields bolted up easy enough, just be careful not to tweak them when removing broken OEM studs/bolts. Overall these seem like a solid design and everything makes sense to me in theory. Hope the drivers side isn’t too much of a PITA and I never have to do it again. If I have to I surely will buy these again.

After removing the OEM manifold, extracting broken bolts and attempting to use new mounting bolts from Dorman and a new gasket back in 2022, about 20k miles later the tick has returned....because the rear fastener on the passenger side broke again! I have learned my lesson, and luckily these replacement manifold kits have come out since then! I was very impressed with the heft and machining these manifolds have along with the fastener design/quality in comparison to the OEM unit. While I am initially a bit more skeptical of the longevity of this repair being that I have already done this once before not too long ago, this time I am much more confident that this will not be an issue again (hopefully ever). Thanks BD diesel for devoting effort to trying to improve this design flaw! There just isn't anyone else out there devoting a quality focus to this issue like you have.

Everything is easy to install and I have yet to have a problem with any of the manifolds I've used from BD Diesel. This is a huge upgrade from the OEM manifolds.
