Replaces the original plastic transducer with a more rugged, reliable and durable metal unit that can handle higher transmission line pressures without failure. Reliable heavy duty Borg Warner governor pressure solenoid prevents oscillations and debris accumulation resulting in longer life. The kit includes an electronic adapter to convert the sensor signal, prevent over pressure codes and has its own built-in temperature sensor.

Bought this for my 06 ram 5.9, 48re. Perfect fit. Fixed the issue. Ran a live data on it, pressures where great and voltage was perfect. I had issues with the temp. Definitely worth the money, upgraded govoner as well. Dont cheat yourself out on the local stores, the plastic sensors fail. If you do yoir own trans flhid and filter change definately worth the upgrade while ya got your pan dropped. Will save you future issues known with the 48re.

Had Trans Temp Overdrive issue. Would even do when cold.This kit fixed the issue and returned my 04 Ram 2500 4x4 longbed to normal 48re.cut bracket with tin snips.bought and inch torque wrench. Truck shifts so nice! What a Wonderful product!

Trans pressure upgrade.

This item cured the 1st-2nd gear hunting and stuck in 2nd issues. Also works perfect in the shifts of the other gears also. Trans has never worked this good ever. This is an absolute must do even if there is no issues with your transmission.

Money well spent!

I replaced my valve body with a BD valve body that came with the electronics upgrade. My transmission builder installed the stock plastic transducer instead of the metal transducer that came with the Valve body, for what ever reason who knows. Long story short the plastic transducer was replaced twice in less than 1k miles. I replaced it with the metal transducer added a double deep transmission pan. It is a completely different transmission! Firm and predictable shift points, noticeably better overall! Highly recommend.
