High Idle switch

Install was easy; the hardest part was choosing a location for the switch. I chose the dash, under the tachometer (left of the steering wheel). This High idle switch is a great option for working in the snow belt areas of the Midwest to get the truck up to a good operating temperature.

Great product, but beware...

Install was easy and straightforward and the kit works as intended unless.... You have deleted your truck and in particular the throttle valve. The PTO uses feedback from the throttle valve and if it doesn't receive that info the switch won't work as intended. Time to find a workaround to the missing throttle valve.
