Debris in the stock cooler bypass valve can cause it to jam the internal valve keeping it in recirculation mode. When this happens the transmission temperature will rise and can lead to overheating and premature transmission failure. The BD Cooler Bypass Delete keeps the transmission cooler operational all the time and eliminates this failure prone item.

Cooler Bypass

Excellent, lowered transmission temp 30 to 40 degrees in normal driving.

2022 ram 3500

Got it installed and just finished a 1200 mile round trip with 37ft 5th wheel. Trans temp never got over 160. Previous trip without the bypass trans temp stayed above 200 and got close to 220.

Positive Upgrade

The part bolted into place without issue and does what it is supposed to do. Transmission temperature has decreased with constant fluid traveling to the cooler at all times.
