About This Product

High volumes of cool oil equate to long transmission life. BD's transmission pans increase oil capacity, while aluminum construction and heat-dissipating fins keep the temperature down. As an added bonus, the pan's increased rigidity prevents case twisting. The kit includes a temperature port plug and a magnetic drain plug.

Bought it with the new filter and gasket, but installing it was a mission thanks to the tight clearance. I had to loosen the cats and the transmission brackets just to make enough room. Long story short, though — I’m glad I did it.

Between hauling my boat and sitting in traffic, my trans temps were hitting 264°, which is way too hot. Now I can service it whenever I need to without the hassle. I also added an external transmission cooler, and that upgrade alone has made a huge difference in keeping temps under control.
