About This Product
About This Product
High volumes of cool oil equate to long transmission life. BD's transmission pans increase oil capacity, while their aluminum construction and heat-dissipating fins keep temperature down. As an added bonus, the pan's increased rigidity prevents case twisting. Kit includes screws, plugs, a magnetic drain plug, OEM style gasket and temperature sending unit port.

All parts arrived quickly and in great condition. All hardware was present and fit perfectly!
Just about hit 120,000 miles and it was time for a transmission service, decided to get the BD deep pan for the added capacity and cooling, and got a ATS Thermal bypass. Reason for the brand difference was just price. The install of the pan was pretty straightforward, putting it up after removing everything was easy, I did have to move the transmission cooling lines out of the way, bolting it up was easy. When putting in the temp gauge plug it was pretty difficult and I definitely used more then 20 in lbs to tighten it but it does not leak and I guess I’ll never remove it. I also messed up and rounded off the plug a little bit while putting it on so don’t be an idiot like me. Over all I think it looks great my temps are around 135, which is the same as before but I’ve heard of people getting a lot higher. Also the gasket worked very well. AND if you are doing a thermostat bypass at the same time aswell as the filter change I ended up adding about 16 qts of ATF to refill it which is more then what the instructions call for so just something to think about if you are buying ATF online.
