As a first responder, this works great for my application. There are times I need to leave the vehicle running with the warning lights on and this allows me to raise the idle as well as keeps the truck from shutting off and shutting everything down.

My hands were a little big getting to the correct connector, but after taking the glove box out and a couple side panels which was really easy, and getting to the right connector the kit that BD diesel sells for idle control was extremely easy to install and worked like it was factory with the truck. Highly recommend for people who live in cold States like Wyoming. Also 5 stars for the customer service from Phillip H. Within 30 minutes he got back to me with 3D diagrams to help me make sure I was using the right connector for their kit, he will be my go to guy for any future BD Diesel installs, thanks Phillip!!
