About This Product

BD torque converters feature exclusive performance cast aluminum stators that improve efficiency and durability for better response in stock to higher horsepower applications. Each BD-engineered torque converter features a stamp-forged steel front cover, furnace-brazed fins, billet steel piston, hardened piston seal bore, improved friction lining and steel Torrington needle bearings which replace plastic thrust washers. Tested to 1,000 lbft crank torque!

Woke my truck up and made it more reliable. LOTS...

$2k outright is expensive, but this is THE way. The ENHANCED STALL street/tow converter stalls right at 2200 behind a typical 12 valve. This really woke my truck up. They are purdy tough too. If you get the valve body right, you can expect hundreds of thousands of trouble free miles while enjoying the dramatically improved performance of the enhanced stall and positive lock up : )
