Interference in the throttle position sensor circuits (APPS) on Dodge Cummins engines from 1994 to 2004 will create false voltage readings in the APPS circuit and cause the lock-up torque converter to rapidly cycle on and off as you drive. This quick and easy fix removes the annoying and potentially harmful RF interference.

After installing a new APPS sensor on my 2001 2500 Ram with Cummins 5.9L and it still had the problem. I stumbled onto this part while searching the forums online. I thought 30$ it’s gotta be worth a shot. Fix it! Thx BD
I can only speak from personal experience, but this was one of the best purchases I've made, the fact it was only $30 made it all the better. I hated getting onto the freeway and after installing had reservations as I was entering the on ramp. I can say with complete honesty that this little add-on completely eliminated the awful gear searching. The up-down-up-down on the freeway drove me nuts. I am 100% on board with this isolator. I was even able to install it without removing my S&B Cold air intake. The only thing I did was lengthen the ground 5" so I could attach it to a ground next to the battery.
cured the issue and was so easy to install
Great service! Great price!
